The Legal & Policy Team is Snap’s dedicated in-house law firm, policy consultant, advocate, thought partner, and all-around advisor. We’re looking for a Litigation Paralegal Lead to join Snap Inc.! As a member of the Legal team and working from our Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA office, you’ll play a key role in Snap’s litigation and regulatory docket and advise teams throughout the company on legal issues spanning the breadth of Snap’s products and services.
What you’ll do:
Support Snap’s litigation and regulatory team on matters large and small
Work with internal and external legal teams to manage all aspects of litigation, including case preparation, fact investigation, witness contacts, tracking and communication of case-related dates and information, tracker/database maintenance, discovery/eDiscovery, and the review and preparation of documents, reports and correspondence
Play a critical role in team processes, organization, and knowledge management
Effectively organize and maintain litigation matter files
Effectively research and summarize factual and statistical data
Work with cross-functional partners to gather, organize and maintain information necessary to support Snap’s litigation needs
Implement processes and organization using company systems
Build and manage playbooks
Advise business clients on relevant Snap policies
Coordinate with outside counsel
Take an active role in e-discovery, working closely with the managing attorney(s) and e-discovery team
Collaborate with Legal Operations team
Handle projects resourcefully, both operating independently and also at the direction of or in collaboration with the managing attorney(s)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and writing skills
Excellent legal and business judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
Ability to drive collaboration and share knowledge and expertise cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly by being resourceful and able to work cross-functionally with stakeholders to complete tasks and resolve issues
Ability to prioritize projects effectively and communicate and manage expectations for deliverables with managing attorneys
Attention to detail and follow through with a team attitude that no job is too big or too small
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
6+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in-house at a technology company.
Solid proficiency with litigation technology databases, litigation management tools, and electronic discovery software
Compliance with the requirements of Cal. B&P Code Sec. 6450
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing new organizational and knowledge management systems, and managing them post-implementation

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$189,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
