We’re looking for a Marketing Science Specialist for E-commerce based in China to join our Measurement Team at Snap Inc. We are a team of scientists and researchers who work in a highly collaborative environment, using our suite of tools and ad products to improve the performance of Snap's advertising platform and drive increased value for our customers.
What you’ll do:
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible to provide strategic measurement advice to internal and external stakeholders while being hands on on measurement study set up and execution
Partner with the China Sales team to develop and execute the market growth strategy along with quarterly goals rooted in sound consumer research, advertiser performance, and industry knowledge
Be the primary driver of performance improvement across our top advertisers leveraging a mix of learning-agenda strategies, experimental design, causal analytics, and ads efficacy solution testing in the China market
Lead measurement, research, and learning plans for key clients in support of their media objectives and the long-term growth of the partnership
Develop a measurement strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for ads measurement and insights products for the E-commerce vertical
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify, test, and scale new ad products, features and solutions that have a positive impact on advertiser value
Lead the scoping and development of custom multi-study meta analysis in partnership with Data Science and Product teams to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and media
Build measurement capability and advocacy across your vertical and with cross-functional partners
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
Ability to influence senior leadership through presentation of clear and concise insights and recommendations
Understanding of measurement concepts, solutions, and underlying statistical fundamentals leveraged in the ads efficacy and measurement ecosystem
Subject matter expertise in at least one of the following areas and familiarity with both; experimental design (sig testing, power calculation, sample design) or econometrics modeling
Expertise with at least one of the advanced analytical tools (e.g. SQL, R, Python)
Access, analyze, interpret, and communicate ads performance insights using a wide range of standard data science tooling
Understanding of the market needs and ability to creatively apply measurement solutions and insights in a way that improves advertiser performance and the value-proposition of Snap
A strong understanding of the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent years of experience
3-5 years of advanced analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company
Experience with ads measurement in user growth and acquisition or eCommerce
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in business, math, statistics, economics, engineering or a related quantitative field
Direct work experience with top advertisers, tech publishers within the China market
Experience building and influencing client or partner relationships
