We’re looking for a PLM Manager & EPS to join the Spectacles team at Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:
PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) & BOM Management
Upload Bill of Materials (BOMs) in Arena PLM software
Structure and own the accuracy and comprehensiveness of BOMs at the SKU-level, including device, accessories, packaging, and artwork
Enforce process compliance of all change orders in the PLM tool
Process change orders for all DRNs, ECOs, DCOs, MCOs
Process change orders for sustaining products
Release the PLM BOM to contract manufacturers and suppliers
Communicate BOM readiness and lock dates to contract manufacturers
Assist in handling status reports/communications and escalations
Build Matrix Ownership
Develop and maintain SMT and FATP build matrices for Proto, EVT, and DVT builds
Device Allocations & Distribution
Interface with Technical Program Managers, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Analysis, NPI, Logistics, Marketing, Contract Manufacturers, Firmware, Software, and other cross-functional teams outside of Spectacles to manage project communications related to prototype device allocations and distributions
Escalate key issues related to allocation, distribution, storage, and security of hardware prototype devices. Present options for resolution to cross-functional teams
Responsible for knowing and communicating differences between material type, builds, and configurations.
Boards & Flexes: Manage the logistics and distribution of development boards and non-enclosure devices
Systems: Track system delivery schedules from the CM, ensuring that teams receive material in a timely fashion. Responsible for tracking, receiving, organizing and distributing material to the engineering team.
Sample parts: Responsible for requesting, tracking, receiving, organizing and distributing material to the engineering team.
Responsible for material used by the engineering team that may include: receiving, unpacking, entering material information into Oomnitza database, allocating and tracking.
Track and manage material to maintain security of Snap intellectual property.
Coordinate collection of hardware material for secure disposal.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years experience as an EPS or PLM at a tech or consumer electronics company
Approximately 25% travel, including international
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of interdisciplinary system integration of electrical, mechanical, and software components
Experience with PLM software
Experience driving complex programs in a fast-paced consumer electronics environment

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $142,000-$214,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
