Recruiter Screen
The recruiter screen is the first conversation in the process. It is an opportunity for us to learn more about your background and for you to learn about the role and interview process.
Initial Interview
The initial interview assesses a values-based behavioral question and your skills related to the role. Be prepared to dive into specific examples of your work such as metrics and leadership. Depending on the role, this interview may include coding fundamentals and/or domain knowledge.
Virtual Loop
The virtual loop consists of a series of interviews tailored to your role and level, and typically include values-based behavioral questions and technical areas based on the role you are interviewing for.
Offer
Depending on the role, the interview process may be tied to a specific team from the start, or include team matching toward the end. When team matching is part of the process, candidate experience, interests, and location preferences are taken into account as we explore the best fit at this stage based on our open roles.

Who is my point of contact throughout the interview process?

Can my interview be split over more than one day?
If the onsite interview is virtual, we will do our best to accommodate a split over two days. Please work with your Recruiting Coordinator on scheduling details.
How do I join my interview?
Please refer to your calendar invite for the virtual interview link. You’ll also receive an email confirmation from the team.
Will AI fluency be evaluated throughout the interview process?
Yes, your AI fluency may be evaluated in the interview process. Your recruiter will let you know in advance and your interviewers will also clarify if AI is permitted during the round.
What platform will be used for technical portions of the interviews?
Snap uses HackerRank for technical interviews (i.e. coding, AI assisted coding, system design, etc.)
