We’re looking for a Senior Sales Trainer to join Team Snapchat!  As part of the Small & Medium Customer (SMC) team, you will develop, program manage and deliver world-class learning programs that uplevel capabilities and productivity for our global vendor sales footprint - encompassing several programs. As a core part of our team, this role will closely partner with training counterparts at our vendor to lead sales program curriculum design, stakeholder management, training design, development, delivery and quality to bring out the best from our Vendor-based programs and  ensure individuals are equipped with the knowledge to be successful and drive revenue growth. To achieve scaled training globally, you’ll collaborate with a variety of teams within Snap (including Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Revenue Growth, Content, Vendor Management, and Operations), along with vendors and external consultants. 

What you'll do:

  • Utilize deep stakeholder management skills to collaborate closely with our vendor team, subject matter experts, business leaders, and QA to identify training needs, gather requirements, and ensure program alignment with business goals

  • Utilize and manage learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and other technologies to effectively deliver blended learning solutions (e-learning, instructor-led training, virtual training, etc.), and manage and measure sales training

  • Coordinate with multiple internal groups to leverage expertise in design and delivery of content and continuous improvement efforts. 

  • Maintain a curation mindset to distill a high volume of information down to the most relevant and impactful learning points, provided in a way that resonates with the Sales team

  • Program manage onboarding paths, ensuring content is always current, timely and relevant

  • Define, monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as learner satisfaction, knowledge retention, and business impact to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop end to end eLearning solutions to ramp new sales team members into their roles effectively

  • Adapt existing Sales Enablement materials to work effectively for our vendor-led programs

  • Assess the performance of sales representatives and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement

  • Share industry trends, market dynamics, and product updates to enhance training content.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, Sales Operations, Product Marketing or related field

  • Deep knowledge within the the tech, media or digital advertising industry

  • Experience with scaled learning strategy, vendor training, and program managing instructional designers

  • Involvement in creating enablement materials for a professional environment (e.g., job-aids, quick-start guides, demos, worksheets, blogs, podcasts, articles, workflows, decision trees, proficiency trackers, etc.) 

  • Familiarity with installing enablement-related accountability and measurement (e.g., pre/post surveys, knowledge checks, rubric scorecards, written or verbal certifications)

  • Experience with adapting information from a variety of sources, without requiring past knowledge or background on the topic

  • Strong project management experience, with an ability to evaluate and re-prioritize rapidly and deliver results as part of a team and/or as an individual contributor

  • Demonstrated understanding of sales and support roles, and a commitment to strengthening the sales process with knowledge, creativity and empathy 

  • Ability to travel 20-30% of the time. 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Organized and able to manage and deliver multiple tasks efficiently, effectively and on time in a metrics based organization

  • Excellent writing, editing, oral and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to translate difficult technical concepts into lay-terms

  • Experience administering LMS systems and tools that help scale programs globally across large teams

  • Understanding of authoring tools and/or video/audio production tools, which yield interaction and response data through SCORM (or an approximate language) 

  • Experience in designing and delivering classroom (ILT) and webinar (vILT) courses

  • A track record of developing impact-focused, metrics-driven approaches to evaluate programs 

  • Strong organization skills that help you manage priorities, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and work under tight deadlines

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with numerous cross-functional teams

  • Instinct to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

  • An operational mindset towards executing against objectives, both tactically and strategically

  • Adaptive and rapid learner with a hunger for new information and the drive to put it in action

  • Good blend of technical and creative dexterity

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$196,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $124,000-$186,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $111,000-$167,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
