We are seeking a Security Technical Program Manager (STPM) to join our Threat-Informed Defense organization (Offensive Security, Threat Intelligence, and Detection & Response). In this role, you’ll utilize insights from offensive security engagements, threat intelligence reporting, and incident response post-mortems to design, lead, and execute key security initiatives that strengthen Snap’s overall security posture. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to implement robust security controls, drive the adoption of secure platforms, and systematically reduce organizational risk.
What you’ll do:
Convert insights from offensive security assessments, threat intelligence, and incident response into actionable security initiatives
Design, lead, and execute strategic programs to proactively mitigate identified security risks
Collaborate with engineers across various disciplines to integrate and operationalize security controls, promoting widespread adoption of secure solutions and best practices across the organization
Establish clear, measurable metrics to demonstrate and track the performance and impact of offensive security, threat intelligence, detection engineering, and digital forensics capabilities, as well as security programs and initiatives
Represent the organization internally and externally, effectively communicating program outcomes and educating stakeholders through clear, impactful storytelling
Identify and deliver solutions to optimize or automate manual and inefficient processes
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Depth of security experience and familiarity with a broad range of information security concepts and principles
Proven experience managing complex security programs and projects
Strong understanding of offensive security practices, threat intelligence, and incident response processes
Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams and clearly communicate security priorities
Experience driving adoption of security platforms and technologies in large-scale environments
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with mastery in the ability to tailor the message to the audience
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent years of experience in a related technical field
8+ years of experience in the field of security program management or a related security role
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud-based services and infrastructure (Google Cloud, Workspace, AWS, etc.)
Practical experience in a BeyondCorp model

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $190,000-$284,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
