Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. The Company’s three core products are Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, Spectacles.

We are looking for a Lead, Growth Strategy to join Snap Inc. In this role, you will design, launch, and scale high-impact business development programs to acquire and grow medium-sized advertisers globally. You’ll focus on building scalable, repeatable programs that expand Snap’s customer base, while also ensuring newly acquired advertisers ramp successfully and continue to grow on our platform.

The ideal candidate brings experience driving customer acquisition and retention outcomes (e.g., new advertiser activations, early revenue growth, or advertiser retention) and leading go-to-market or business development initiatives across multiple channels — including owned, paid, events, and partnerships — that deliver measurable results. They will excel at identifying new market opportunities, developing playbooks that scale, and aligning cross-functional teams to accelerate growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and execute BD- and partnership-led programs to drive acquisition of medium-sized advertisers, while also supporting retention and revenue growth for new accounts.

  • Identify new growth opportunities using customer insights, product data, and market trends, and translate them into scalable acquisition and retention programs.

  • Partner with BD, Marketing, Product and external partners to design and roll out global GTM plays (campaigns, partnerships, events, and in-product experiences) that accelerate customer acquisition and adoption.

  • Develop and own program roadmaps and KPIs for both new advertiser acquisition and retentive growth, ensuring accountability and consistent performance tracking.

  • Test, optimize, and scale programs through experimentation frameworks and a test-and-learn approach.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Data Science, Operations, Insights, and Marketing to analyze performance, refine programs, and maximize advertiser success.

  • Communicate strategies, results, and recommendations clearly to executives and key stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven track record in driving customer acquisition and retention through growth, business development and partnership programs.

  • Experience designing and scaling programs across multiple geographies.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; able to distill complex strategies into clear narratives for executive and external audiences.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership with the ability to influence across Marketing, Product, Ops, and Sales.

  • Familiarity with the digital advertising industry and experience with SMB/medium-sized advertisers is a plus.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to experiment, iterate, and adapt at pace.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.

  • 8+ years in growth, business development, consulting, corporate strategy, or product/growth marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or degree in engineering, mathematics, or economics.

  • Experience launching and scaling customer acquisition and retention programs with measurable impact.

  • Passion for structured problem solving, hypothesis testing, and growth strategy.

  • Enthusiasm for Snap’s mission, creativity, and innovation.
