We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager (L4) to join the Specs Software team. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to help deliver best-in-class features and software experiences for Snap’s next-generation AR devices.
As a TPM at this level, you will coordinate cross-functional software projects, manage schedules and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of software components that power Snap’s hardware ecosystem. You’ll also support process improvements and communication flows across teams.
What You’ll Do
Partner with feature development teams across OS platforms to plan, track, and deliver high-quality software releases across technologies such as camera, audio, video, graphics, display, sensors, and firmware.
Drive execution of well-defined projects by creating schedules, tracking milestones, dependencies and escalating risks or blockers.
Facilitate meetings, status updates, and documentation to keep stakeholders aligned on progress and decisions.
Support cross-functional collaboration between hardware, firmware, and application software teams.
Identify and communicate program risks, propose mitigation plans, and follow through to resolution.
Help improve internal software development processes and project tracking methodologies.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, clear communication, and strong program discipline.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Solid understanding of software development life cycles, tools, and release processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel with shifting priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and derive needed dependencies
Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong execution mindset
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of post-Bachelor’s technical program or project management within a software or hardware organization experience in; or Master’s degree in a technical field + 2+ year of post-grad technical program or project management experience; or PhD in a relevant technical field.
Familiarity with agile development tools and processes.
Ability to travel locally and internationally as required to support software bring-ups and validation activities at manufacturing sites or partner facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting programs in consumer electronics or hardware-software integration.
Exposure to technologies such as camera systems, multimedia software such as video, embedded software. Exposure to AR/VR software is a plus
Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Knowledge of project tracking and version control tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git).

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $142,000-$214,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
