We’re looking for a Global Supply Manager to join our procurement team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do

Lead strategic commodities within the technically challenging supply chain for Waveguides, Displays and Optical Engines

• Provide technical support to other internal team members

• Provide expert commercial & technical support to source high quality parts and sub-assemblies that meet all performance, functional and commercial criteria

• Drive design to cost – look at ways to achieve the optimal technology at the optimal cost point.

• Lead due diligence and qualification of new suppliers and technologies.

• Produce and maintain should cost models for key commodities.

• Undertake business travel in support of new supplier/technology investigations and supplier due diligence  - In Europe, Asia and North America. Approximately 10-20% travel.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Able to prioritise duties and work well on your own

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail

• Background working with both internal and external partner

• Proficient negotiator with proven abilities in influencing people at all levels in the organisation.

• Strong ability to explain benefits to stakeholders, to gain acceptance of any change by giving relevant information, analyses, and making sound and confident recommendations.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Have a relevant Engineering degree and/or a commercial discipline with applicable experience working in both of these fields.

• 5+ years of experience working in Engineering/Procurement at a tech or consumer goods company.

• Proficient negotiator with proven abilities in influencing people at all levels in the organisation.
