Snap Inc. is looking for a Copywriter to support the Marketing team. This role will develop creative from concept to execution for a portfolio of key partners. You will produce concepts and copy that make a difference to consumers’ behavior and to our partners through ideas, creativity and language. You will work with Senior creatives, designers, strategists and marketers to create innovative concepts and messaging, then push the idea through to copy with the ultimate goal of crafting world-class AR creative.
What You’ll Do:
This position is concept, ideation and copywriting focused.
Inspire, guide, and motivate a team of designers to craft thoughtful and impactful creative through copy.
Utilize your storytelling and strategic thinking skills to present creative concepts to creative directors, strategists, and other key industry stakeholders.
Work closely with comms planner and producers to understand AR performance and utilize learnings to improve future work.
Manage and inspire junior creatives to create world class AR concepts.
Write for scripts, pitches, award submissions and Arcadia marketing material.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experience generating high-impact, culturally relevant creative.
Strong conceptual ideas that solve real problems with human insights.
Writes compelling, beautifully constructed copy for a variety of audiences, and across a variety of media.
Demonstrates excellent grammar and spelling skills, with minimal amends from proofreading.
Able to write scripts for film, animation or moving image content or concepts, and work with designers to produce clear storyboards that communicate an idea.
Storyteller, possessing excellent creative, presentation and problem-solving skills, as well as an eye for small details and a passion for big ideas.
Comfortable giving design direction on projects.
Experience articulating simple and compelling ideas.
Understanding of creative, design and marketing processes.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
High-impact, culturally relevant creative portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience.
Proven experience working as a Copywriter is required.
A successful track record of copywriting and concepting, including experience in AR.
Wide experience of writing scripts for video/film/radio/animation, casting and attending recordings; as well as experience in, and enthusiasm for, a broad range of online or offline copy; including, ad campaigns, HTML/rich media emails, online campaigns, social media content, microsites, websites or mobile.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a creative/agency environment is advantageous.
Experience contributing to new business development and working with Copy teams on new business pitches.

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$196,000 annually.
