With functions spanning creative and marketing, strategy, consumer insights, and marketing operations, the team enables and activates marketing initiatives across the entire Snap Inc. ecosystem.
We’re looking for a Manager, Marketing in Germany, based in our Hamburg office. In this role, you’ll work closely with our DACH General Manager, and partner with Creative, Product, Comms, Sales, and Insights teams in EMEA to build and execute marketing programs which grow Snap’s business goals. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing, International who is based in London. This role is an individual contributor role - but requires a significant degree of influence to ensure outcomes are achieved for the market.
What you’ll do:
Lead the DACH Marketing strategy and plan, focusing on a mix of business and consumer facing marketing within the German market
Create and execute marketing programs and initiatives which deliver on the strategy and communicate Snap’s value proposition for to businesses via innovative campaigns, success stories, thought leadership, partnerships, workshops, and events
Work with global brand, creative and cross-functional teams to create culturally relevant and best-in-class creative, integrated marketing campaigns
Work closely with cross-functional partners to support our team efforts by communicating our brand vision and campaign ideas to rally support
Partner with other stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Insights, Creative Strategy, Product Marketing, Comms, Marketing Science, and Sales to ensure our marketing delivers on Snap DACH’ overarching business goals
Represent Snap Marketing in internal forums and contribute to key decisions in the market
Collaborate with other marketing leads in EMEA to build and localize global marketing programs, and share best practices across our portfolio
Develop insights to share with EMEA Marketing leadership to help increase market understanding and future brand positioning / campaigns
Measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing and ensure it delivers on Snap’s goals in the market
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to navigate complex organizations
A multidimensional marketer with a track record of inspiring creative ideas that come to life across a broad ecosystem of marketing channels including paid, organic and earned.
Collaborative approach which embodies Snap’s core values
Creative mindset and an ability to spot opportunities and cultivate ideas where others wouldn’t
Analytical rigor and an ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
Ability to communicate Snap’s brand story and value proposition on stages and in the press
A passion for Snapchat!
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in marketing roles, particularly across DACH
Experience working with teams which operate cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
Marketing experience at a digital platform, app, or media company
