Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

The Company operates Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world, and Specs Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to making computing more human, in addition to Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital services.

As a member of the Creative & Marketing team, you’ll help shape how SPECS shows up across luxury, fashion, design, and culture on social media.

We’re looking for a hands-on social-first creative with deep luxury experience and a strong strategic mind. You’re an expert in the luxury social landscape and understand its creative codes, cultural nuances, audiences, creators, and emerging trends, and know what it takes for brands to show up credibly and distinctively.

You’ve ideally spent meaningful time within a true luxury house, where you’ve had real ownership of the brand’s social presence and strategy, rather than contributing to social as one part of a broader creative role. You can articulate not only what great work looks like, but how you developed the strategy behind it, built internal alignment, sold the vision to stakeholders, and drove it through execution.

You’ll report directly to the Creative Director of Social.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help shape and execute SPECS’ social strategy, building a distinctive and culturally relevant presence within the luxury landscape.

  • Take social strategies from idea to reality: develop the approach, pitch and socialize it internally, and lead execution through launch and ongoing optimization.

  • Bring deep knowledge of the luxury ecosystem including culture, audiences, creators, talent, brands, and emerging trends, to identify opportunities for SPECS to show up credibly and differently.

  • Translate luxury brand-building into the technology and hardware space, balancing aspiration, innovation, design, and product storytelling.

  • Bring strong taste and a design-forward creative eye across art direction, visual identity, content, and storytelling.

  • Take ideas from strategy through execution, working hands-on with creators, agencies, and partners, and creating content directly when needed.

  • Manage creative and social agencies to ensure work meets the creative standards and cultural nuances expected within luxury.

  • Build and leverage relationships across luxury, fashion, design, and culture to bring new talent, collaborators, and opportunities to SPECS.

  • Stay ahead of shifts in luxury and social culture, helping SPECS participate in ways that feel credible, elevated, and unexpected.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Deep experience owning social for a luxury brand, with responsibility for shaping the strategy and driving the brand’s overall presence, not simply contributing to individual campaigns or content.

  • Experience working within or closely alongside a true luxury brand, with a nuanced understanding of the category, its audiences, and its creative standards.

  • Strong strategic thinking paired with an executor mindset—you’re as comfortable developing the thinking as you are figuring out how to make it happen.

  • A sophisticated creative eye and strong taste across brand, design, visual identity, art direction, and storytelling.

  • Ability to think conceptually and translate strategic ideas into tangible creative executions.

  • Experience working with and managing creative and social agencies, from briefing and feedback through production and delivery.

  • Strong understanding of creators and social-first production, including the ability to identify the right talent, collaborate with creators, and create content independently when needed.

  • Ability to navigate cross-functional organizations and bring multiple stakeholders along without slowing down the work.

  • Highly curious about culture, fashion, luxury, technology, design, and emerging creative formats.

  • Strong organizational and project management instincts, with the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making smart, quick decisions as creative and business needs evolve.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, communications, filmmaking, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience across social, creative, brand, or marketing role in the luxury space.

  • 3+ years working within a true luxury brand or house, ideally in fashion, beauty, automotive, hospitality, or an adjacent premium category.

  • Experience working for, or closely with, luxury brands, ideally within fashion, beauty, automotive, hospitality, or adjacent premium categories.

  • Portfolio or body of work demonstrating strong social thinking, creative execution, and elevated brand storytelling.

  • Experience managing creative and/or social agencies and external partners.

  • Hands-on content creation capabilities across photography, video, design, editing, or social-native formats.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at or within a globally recognized luxury house, with brands such as Dior, Chanel, Jacquemus, or comparable luxury brands.

  • Experience with project management and/or creative production.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Keynote, and emerging Generative AI tools.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite programs, Frame.io, and creative asset programs

  • Demonstrated ability to take projects from strategy and concept through execution and delivery.

  • Experience working in fast-moving, cross-functional organizations.
