This team of Designers, Product Managers, and Strategists works collaboratively across areas like Core Growth, Content, Bitmoji, Augmented Reality, AI, and Emerging Products. Together, they craft innovative solutions that enhance user connections, elevate content and AR experiences, and drive the growth and evolution of Snapchat’s core platform.

We’re looking for a Camera Product Manager to join our Product team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

  • Be a product leader for Snap Camera’s Capture experience by deeply understanding the needs of our users and developing a compelling product vision and strategy.

  • Build trust and credibility through high-quality decision-making, a deep understanding of Snapchat’s user base, and delivering meaningful outcomes that enhance everyday interactions on the platform.

  • Partner with designers, engineers, and data scientists to build technology, systems, and products that redefine how our community communicates and expresses themselves through Snapchat’s Camera.

  • Prioritize features, build roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful products that power core Snapchat experiences like Chat, Camera, Maps, and Content products and features.

  • Execute throughout the product development process by gathering and defining requirements, writing specs, working with UXR on user research, conducting AB tests, and coordinating marketing and other launch plans.

  • Build alignment across the company on your vision, including with leadership and executives.

  • Drive collaboration across adjacent teams to align priorities and ensure the successful execution of initiatives that shape Snapchat’s consumer experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience managing and developing business critical systems – including defining product roadmaps and long-term plans

  • Comfortable participating in the architecture/technical decisions made in the team, requiring you to have knowledge in modern media formats and modern cloud technologies

  • Skilled in the creation of delightful, polished and performant products for customers in every market and on any device

  • Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, designers, data science and other cross-functional teammates

  • Ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking

  • Ability to independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

  • Knowledge of product-oriented quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience (preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or other technical field)

  • 3+ years of experience building and shipping products at a consumer or advertising technology company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience working on Camera, AR, and image/video processing technologies

  • Direct experience working on consumer social or visual communication/messaging products such as stories

  • Entrepreneurial background

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $142,000-$214,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $135,000-$203,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $121,000-$182,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
