We are looking for a Creative Strategist to join Team Snapchat in China working on our top tier clients! Working from our Beijing or Shenzhen office, you’ll become a key player in driving the creative ambition of the business. As a Creative Strategist, the successful candidate will be a creative catalyst with the ability to unlock revenue through ideas. Day-to-day, you’ll work with the Snapchat Sales team, key brand partners, and their agencies to create and implement best-in-class creative advertising campaigns on Snapchat.

This role requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while influencing both internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • With a focus on revenue generation, develop and own creative ideas, strategies, and presentation materials that address client goals through Snapchat’s advertising solutions

  • Partner closely with Sales, brands, and agencies to define, recommend, and execute end-to-end creative strategies, from opportunity identification through performance evaluation

  • Use data, creative insights, and market context to develop evidence-based, results-driven creative solutions for brands based in China advertising globally

  • Act as the performance marketing creative expert, influencing and inspiring clients through compelling storytelling, presentations, and pitches

  • Apply deep knowledge of content, video, creator, and emerging ad formats (including chat and AR) to drive effective and innovative campaign design

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable client solutions, navigate ambiguity, and independently define clear strategic paths forward

  • Develop a clear point of view on key industry verticals and translate campaign performance into actionable insights, best practices, and scalable playbooks

  • Share learnings and creative excellence with peers, contribute to a collaborative team culture, and represent Snapchat at key industry and client engagements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business management, or related area of study, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, advertising, or a related field

  • Proven ability to own creative strategy independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading the strategy for performance marketing campaigns for mid-to-large scale advertisers

  • Track record of developing outstanding creative applied in digital and mobile-first mediums

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to confidently influence senior clients and articulate thought-leading advertising solutions

  • Experience in managing and enabling advertising sales partners and cross-functional teams

  • Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environments

  • Experience working with Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs), Adobe Suite, and Keynote

  • Understanding of emerging technologies and their application in creative advertising; experience with AR ads and Creator Ads is a plus

  • Track record or background in e-commerce or short-drama industry is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on execution with higher-level strategic thinking and long-term business impact
