Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

The Company operates Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world, and Specs Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to making computing more human, in addition to Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital services.

We're looking for a Senior Specialist, Product Strategy & Operations to join our lean, high-agency Product Strategy, Ops & GTM team. Our mission is simple: bring structure and momentum to how Snapchat plans, executes, and launches products. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and product — and your job is to make the product org smarter and faster.

You'll own end-to-end work streams that directly influence what we build and how we resource it. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Data Science, and cross-functional partners to analyze opportunities, surface trade-offs, and help ensure our roadmap is aligned with our biggest bets.

This is not a theoretical role. You'll be expected to move quickly, structure ambiguous problems, and translate analysis into real product decisions.

What you'll do:

  • Own targeted strategic analyses — including opportunity sizing, competitive research, and first-party data exploration — to help inform what we should build and when

  • Build and maintain a clear view of how team-level priorities and resourcing map to our highest-impact opportunities; surface mismatches during quarterly planning cycles

  • Partner with PMs and Product Ops on feature proposals, helping frame trade-offs and sequence decisions in support of our quarterly and annual planning process

  • Develop clear, concise memos, frameworks, and presentations that distill your findings into simple, actionable recommendations for product and leadership

  • Identify friction points in the product development lifecycle and propose process improvements that reduce overhead and improve cross-functional alignment

  • Build lightweight tools or dashboards to track evolving priorities, decisions, and assumptions over time

  • Collaborate with Data Science to establish success metrics and assess trade-offs across key product initiatives

  • Interface with XFN counterparts — including Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Comms — to support coordinated execution on strategic priorities

What success looks like:

  • Your analyses directly influence roadmap decisions and resource allocation. PMs see you as a trusted thought partner, not just an analyst.

  • You maintain a reliable, real-time pulse on where our biggest product opportunities are and where investment may be misaligned.

  • You surface the right questions at the right time — helping the team stay focused on moving the biggest rocks, not just the most visible ones.

  • You bring rigor and clarity to complex or ambiguous problems, and you follow through from framing to recommendation to action.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4–8 years of experience in product strategy, product analytics, management consulting, investment analysis, or equivalent

  • Strong analytical and opportunity sizing skills (Excel, Sheets) with the ability to self-serve in data tools (SQL, Looker, or similar)

  • Experience working closely with product teams and influencing through data and insight

  • Track record of completing work — not just recommending it — with a bias toward speed and action

  • Clear, confident communicator who can tailor a message for engineers, executives, and everyone in between

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with consumer social platforms, creator ecosystems, or mobile product development

  • Experience supporting quarterly or annual planning processes, including resourcing or portfolio analysis

  • Operational instincts: ability to track details and drive projects forward without losing the big picture

  • Comfort working in lean, fast-moving environments where structure is built, not inherited
