We’re looking for a People Operations Generalist to join the People Team at Snap Inc! This role will be based in our Santa Monica office.
What you’ll do:
Support People Operations programs and projects including onboarding, performance and promotion cycles, communications and team member support.
Identify and implement process improvements that increase the efficiency, consistency, and employee experience of People programs.
Maintain accurate employee and program data in Workday and related systems in partnership with HRIS.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc operational reports, including headcount, new hires, promotions, and departures.
Respond to operational inquiries, provide routine guidance, and route matters to the appropriate People partner, as needed.
Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and follow applicable People processes and compliance guidance.
Utilize AI tools to optimize workflows and increase efficiency in People Operations processes.
Support change communications and adoption activities for new or updated People programs.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of core HR processes and employee lifecycle practices.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Workday or comparable HR system.
Ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential employee information.
Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Workday or another HR information system.
Experience utilizing AI to prepare reports and dashboards to illustrate data analysis.
Experience supporting People programs in a technology or high-growth environment.

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $81,000-$121,000 annually.
