The Global Brand Experience (GBX) team brings Snap brands to life while reinforcing what we stand for as a company — real friendship, free and authentic expression, human-centered design, and a playful irreverence. The team does this globally through in-person and virtual experiences. The GBX team’s mission is to educate our broader community on Snap’s brands by creating opportunities to connect with them on a more emotional level. We’re looking for a Global Brand Experience Lead – APAC to join Snap Inc. on a 6 months fixed-term contract.


Based in Sydney, this role will lead and support GBX initiatives across Australia and New Zealand, while also working across priority APAC markets.


The role will partner closely with regional and global teams to deliver high-impact experiences and amplify GBX initiatives across Snap’s social platforms.


What you’ll do:

  • Conceptualize and carry out imaginative experiences that bring the Snapchat brand to life across ANZ and wider APAC markets, with a focus on evangelizing Snap’s AR innovation
  • Lead end-to-end project management for events, overseeing timelines, budgets, cross-functional coordination, and on-site execution to ensure seamless delivery
  • Act as a translator between tech, business and cultural teams, helping to break down new technologies and terminology
  • Build strategic relationships with external partners, ensuring alignment and collaboration
  • Bring hands-on experience in event production, including technical planning, vendor coordination, and on-site execution for live events
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to plan and execute logistics for regional and global events and experiences
  • Identify opportunities to bring the Snapchat brand, key priorities, new products and features to life through activations that inspire clients, partners and consumers and support discovery of innovative and strategic use cases
  • Create and oversee comprehensive project timelines, trackers and budgets
  • Manage relationships with new and existing venues, agencies and vendors
  • Optimize event ROI and identify opportunities to extend the impact and reach of GBX initiatives beyond the physical experience
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Partnerships, Marketing and Executive teams to help accomplish their strategic goals and generate revenue
  • Partner with global and regional cross-functional teams to develop social and digital strategies that amplify GBX initiatives and extend their reach beyond the live experience
  • Manage the development of social-first content around key GBX moments, working with internal teams, agencies and creators from concept and capture through to delivery
  • Identify compelling stories that can be elevated through Snap’s global social and digital channels
  • Develop platform-specific approaches to content, with a focus on high-energy, visual-first storytelling that demonstrates Snapchat’s consumer and business relevance
  • Build social amplification toolkits into event planning from the outset, identifying content opportunities, talent moments and behind-the-scenes storytelling that can engage audiences globally

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate expertise with executive stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation skills and an understanding of contractual agreements with vendors and venues
  • Strong analytical skills which allow for creative methods to achieve results and solve problems cross-functionally
  • Agile mindset with proven people and resource management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, digital content and how live experiences can translate into compelling social storytelling
  • Ability to identify culturally relevant stories and content opportunities across global markets
  • Experience working with Google applications, Apple applications, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Can-do attitude; no task is too big or too small
  • Meticulous attention to detail on creative and design elements
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and experience building processes from the ground up at a fast pace
  • Strong work ethic and ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years of proven experience successfully managing and producing events, brand experiences and/or integrated social and digital content strategies
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required
