An AR Moderation Senior Specialist will own and manage all daily review activities across our AR products, executing against established roadmaps and OKRs to ensure safe, high-quality user experiences. Working from our New York office, you’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Policy teams to make data-driven decisions informed by key performance indicators. The role combines hands-on operational ownership with technical systems knowledge and the ability to translate data and cross-functional safety inputs into scalable, automated workflows. You’ll maintain a strong technical understanding of all moderation systems and synthesize Product Safety and Core Operations outcomes into product workflows that support continuous improvement and innovation in AR Moderation.
What you'll do:
Review Snap Lens submissions to ensure they comply with creative policies, technical requirements, and product safety standards.
Manage review queues and prioritize submissions to meet team SLAs and quality goals.
Analyze Lens review outcomes and data to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and areas for process improvement.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Policy to develop and enhance scalable review systems, automation, and tooling solutions that improve accuracy, reduce turnaround time, and support large-scale AR review operations.
Provide high-quality Lens Review support for self-serve creators, maintaining accuracy and consistency across user-submitted content.
Use data to influence prioritization decisions and provide visibility into user-impacting or product-impacting issues.
Serve as a subject-matter expert on creative and legal guidelines for AR content to ensure safe and compliant experiences.
Support vendor quality and performance through calibration, guidance, and consistent feedback loops.
Deliver training, mentorship, and feedback to strengthen team expertise and consistency.
Proactively anticipate creative or policy risks related to new AR features, and help balance innovation with platform safety.
Advise internal teams on cultural, linguistic, and contextual considerations for global AR content.
Research industry and AR ecosystem trends to inform Lens Review strategy and policy evolution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient data and quantitative analysis skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal oversight
Ability to create visuals, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate your insights
Great judgment and ability to problem-solve, both independently and with peers
Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing business needs
Deep cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse global perspectives in creative content
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant work experience
Experience analyzing data to make data-driven decisions
Experience with automation, tooling systems, or workflow optimization techniques
Experience with Looker, Tableau, or other similar programs
Experience managing multiple projects end to end
Experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking software
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in content moderation, creative review, or trust and safety operations, ideally within digital media or AR products
Data driven with proven track record managing large data sets, and reporting to inform decision making
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the company
Developed perspective on prominent trends and issues in the online safety world

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$133,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
