Backend
General Coding
General coding rounds will assess fundamentals around data structure building blocks, algorithmic performance, object oriented development, and iterating that code.
AI Assisted Coding
This technical evaluation assesses how candidates use AI as part of their software engineering workflow. Candidates may be asked to clarify requirements, create a plan, use an AI assistant to help generate or revise code, debug issues, and validate the final solution. Strong candidates demonstrate intentional AI usage, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to explain, test, and improve AI-generated output.
System Design
System design interviews will assess the ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions. The problems can range from more junior object-oriented design to designing scalable, resilient, large-scale systems. The system design can range from API design to scaled systems design to full product design.
