The Comms Team is responsible for conveying Snap’s mission, vision and values to core audiences within our community, which include Snapchatters, advertising partners, content partners, investors, policymakers, and Snap team members. This passionate team works hard to show the world what makes Snapchat the best platform for communication and storytelling, and to ensure the narratives about the company, its people, and its products are accurate and compelling.
We’re looking for a Digital Associate to join the Snap Communications Team!
What you’ll do:
Identify and amplify stories within Snap that drive our corporate, product, and B2B narratives, in partnership with Digital Manager
Lead editorial calendar management and social posting for global communications team (on Snapchat, LinkedIn, X and more)
Update, maintain, and elevate our company website presence
Support creative team and agency with content creation for video and static assets
Help with copywriting and social media voice refinement
Establish and own social listening and reporting for team, including tracking social sentiment about our company, flagging and escalating issues, and reporting on channel growth and trends
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Experience with and understanding of corporate audiences like investors, advertisers, families, policymakers, and engineers
Eye for design – ability to work with Creatives and support small design asks independently
Basic understanding of website Content Management Systems (CMS)
Basic understanding of design and programs (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma)
Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to experiment in order to learn and identify creative solutions to problems
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to build relationships cross-functionally and across different time zones
Well organized and proactive in managing day to day work and execution of creative initiatives
Familiarity with the tech industry, including leading companies, products, trends, etc., a plus
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a relevant social or digital communications role
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $98,000-$146,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
